What do you want for a perfect family /friends roast ? Hot food ? Excellent service ? Crispy roasties ? Succulent meat. ? Perfectly cooked veg ? Yorkies that are crunchy in all the right places ? Very friendly atmosphere ? Relaxed ? Then you have found your ideal place at the Boarshead! All the staff are really friendly and Meghan is the perfect landlady.. a proper pub with superb food.. we had a good mix of roasts plus a pie and starters so food recommendations are across the board.less

We visited the Boar's Head Inn at Crowborough today (19/6/24) for a Wake following the funeral of a dear friend. We were absolutely amazed at the wonderful spread that was provided. Both hot and cold food. Well presented and attentive service. Excellent! We have visited for lunch meals on a couple of past occasions and have always been impressed by the variety and quality of the food. Thankyou.less
Excellent food in this lovely pub. I had cold fish platter which consisted of loads of smoked salmon, prawn cocktail and a generous tub ov mackerel pate and salads and bread. Delicious and well presented. The menu had lots of unusual choices. Definitely worth a visit.less
